Estelle Huang, Esq.

Estelle Huang is an associate attorney at The Zhou Law Group, where she focuses her practice on family law matters, including dissolution of marriage, child custody and visitation, domestic violence restraining orders, support disputes, and complex property and financial issues.

Estelle began her legal journey in Shanghai, China, where she earned a master’s degree in international law from Fudan University. She passed the China Bar Exam in 2012. She later attended Stanford Law School, where she earned a second master’s degree in law with a concentration in Science and Technology Law.

Before joining The Zhou Law Group, Estelle practiced family law at a U.S. law firm, where she was the only Mandarin-speaking attorney and regularly represented Chinese-speaking clients in a wide range of family law matters. Through that experience, she worked closely with clients from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds and gained exposure to a broad range of litigation strategies, negotiation styles, and approaches to dispute resolution.

Today, Estelle brings a unique cross-border perspective to her family law practice, drawing from her background in both Chinese and U.S. legal systems. She is particularly skilled at navigating matters involving cultural, financial, and communication challenges. Estelle regularly assists clients in high-conflict and financially complex family law cases and is known for her strategic thinking, attention to detail, and practical approach to resolving disputes.

Estelle is particularly valued for her ability to connect with clients during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. She understands the emotional and financial pressures that often accompany family law disputes and works closely with clients to identify practical solutions that align with their long-term goals.

While she is fully prepared to litigate when necessary, Estelle strongly believes that many family law matters can be resolved through thoughtful negotiation and strategic settlement discussions. She is skilled at helping parties reach fair and efficient resolutions that minimize unnecessary conflict, reduce litigation costs, and allow families to move forward with stability and dignity.

Fluent in both Mandarin and English, Estelle is able to effectively serve a diverse client base and bridge cultural and linguistic gaps throughout the legal process.
