Shan Tang, Esq.

Shan Tang is a junior attorney at The Zhou Law Group. She joined the firm as a Law Clerk following the July 2025 California Bar Examination and has since been admitted to practice law in California. She now supports clients in a broad range of family law matters with diligence, care, and thoughtful advocacy.

Shan earned her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law, graduating with Dean’s List honors. She received the Law Faculty Scholarship for three consecutive years and earned two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achieving the highest grades in her courses.

During law school, Shan strengthened her advocacy and litigation skills through Moot Court, competing in internal competitions and serving as a training partner for external teams. She gained valuable judicial insight as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Vanessa Zecher (Ret.) in Santa Clara County Family Court. She also interned with the Law Offices of BJ Fadem, further developing practical, client-centered experience in family law.

Shan focused her legal training in mediation and family law, equipping herself to guide clients through sensitive disputes with professionalism and efficiency. She served as Vice President of both the Family Law Society and the Affirmed Law Student Organization, advocating for student development and supporting those pursuing law as a second career. Prior to law school, Shan worked as a paralegal for four years in the Bay Area.

Shan is committed to achieving outcomes that protect her clients’ interests and promote long-term stability. Outside the office, she enjoys gardening and spending time in nature, which reflects her belief in balance, sustainability, and constructive solutions.
