Jackielyn Abellada, Esq.

Jackielyn Abellada is a senior attorney at The Zhou Law Group with 15 years of legal experience as a licensed attorney. With over 7 years of solely family law practice, she is a recognized Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS), the highest recognition for family law attorneys issued by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California.

Ms. Abellada has conducted numerous successful motions and trials. She has been favorably evaluated by many clients, attorneys and judges familiar with her work. Ms. Abellada has handled various aspects of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody and visitation, parentage, child support, spousal support, and property division.

Ms. Abellada is a member of the State Bar of California, the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Minor’s Counsel Panel for Los Angeles County. She has worked closely with local family courts in many counties, including Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and Orange County.

Ms. Abellada graduated cum laude from University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and received her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law. 

Ms. Abellada has previously worked at various non-profit organizations, because of this background, she is mindful of billing especially if her clients have concerns regarding their financial abilities to maintain counsel. Prior to joining The Zhou Law Group, Ms. Abellada was a senior and associate attorney at boutique law firms in Los Angeles, Arcadia, Newport Beach, and San Francisco.
