This year marks the 10th anniversary of The Zhou Law Group.
To recognize this milestone, our team gathered in Napa Valley to reflect on the vision that founded the firm, the people who have shaped its growth, and the responsibility that will guide our next decade.
A Vision Built Through Experience
Before founding The Zhou Law Group, Joanne Y. Zhou had already learned what it meant to carry significant responsibility within a legal practice. At one stage of her career, her work accounted for the billings and revenue of an entire firm.
That experience gave her the confidence to establish an independent practice, but her ambition extended beyond building a successful career for herself. She wanted to create a firm capable of delivering excellent legal work, developing strong professionals, and serving families with consistency and understanding.
Ten years later, that vision has become an established California family law firm serving communities through offices in San Jose, Pasadena, Santa Monica, and San Diego.
Leadership Reflections and Team Support
During the anniversary gathering, the firm’s partners and team leaders shared their experiences and reflections on the firm’s development. They also introduced the attorneys and paralegals they oversee, recognizing their contributions and welcoming newer members of their teams.
The discussion reflected a leadership approach grounded in communication, mentorship, and practical support. Across offices and roles, each team contributes to the firm’s shared standards and continued growth.
